British director John Guillermin, whose films included The Towering Inferno and Death on the Nile, has died aged 89. CCPC meets annual target half year

The Competition and Consumer protection commission (CCPC) has of August 30th resolved 1,199 cases against the targeted 1000 cases. CCPC director for consumer protection Brian Lingela says this is an increase from the 827 cases resolved in 2014. Syria conflict: Russia launches fresh strikes

Russia has launched air strikes in Syria for a second day. The strikes reportedly targeted positions in the north-west held by the Army of Conquest rebel alliance.
