Veteran Politician Chifumu Banda has urged government to ensure that it delivers farming inputs early across the country for the 2022/2023 farming season.
Mr. Banda tells Q-news that in the recent past, the delivery of farming inputs has been unsatisfactory, hence the need for inputs to be delivered to beneficiaries before the onset of the rains this year.
He states that as a result of the late delivery of inputs during last farming season, some parts of the country will experience hunger this year.
Mr. Banda is also hopeful that the new dawn government will quickly reform the FISP program to the Agriculture support program (ASP) which will improve delivery of farming inputs.
