Eastern Province needs all-weather roads – Daka

Msanzala Member of Parliament Peter Daka has observed the need for government to pay more attention to the road network in Eastern Province.

Mr. Daka says the fact that 90 percent of the maize in the Province is produced by small scale farmers,it is important that roads to these farming areas are made passable.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Daka says such roads should in fact be all-weather roads.

Mr. Daka says this will not only facilitate smooth transportation of farming inputs but also the produce during the harvesting season.
