Kampyongo describes implementation of CDF as organized confusion

Shiwang’andu Member of Parliament Stephen Kampyongo has described the implementation of the Constituency Development Fund program under the new dawn government as organized confusion.

Mr. Kampyongo who is also former local government minister tells Q-news that it is unfortunate that even after so many years of disbursement of CDF, there are still challenges being faced with regards the effective implementation of the fund and more so now with the increase in the fund.

He feels the funds where disbursed better and effectively before the amount was increased to K25.7 million.

Mr. Kampyongo has since noted the need for the new dawn government to distinguish the disbursement of CDF from the holistic implementation of the decentralization policy.
