New Heritage party president Chishala Kateka feels the recent transfers of magistrates to some extent contradicts the New Dawn Government’s aspiration of uniting couples in the civil service.

About ten Lusaka Magistrates have been transferred by the judicial service commission to various parts of the country.

But Ms Kateka is however, hopeful that the Magistrates that have been transferred are not being separated from their spouses as it will go against the New Dawn Administration’s policy of reuniting couples in the civil service.

Speaking to Q-news Ms Kateka says government should tell the nation how the transfers are being made without the aspiration of uniting couples and families being affected.

And Zambia Civic Education Association Executive Director, Judith Mulenga who shares the same sentiments with Ms Kateka tells Q-news that it will be of interest for the New Dawn to inform the nation how the transfers will not affect the sanctity and union of marriage and families.
