Energy Expert Johnston Chikwanda predicted a moderate upwards adjustment in fuel pump prices when the Energy Regulation Board reviews prices this month.
Mr Chikwanda notes that this is considering that currently, the price of crude oil on the international market has moderately gone up to 113 dollars a barrel compared to an average of 103 dollars.
He says this is more than the 2.5 threshold set by the ERB for price adjustments.
Mr. Chikwanda further laments that the geopolitical risks still remain high, adding that the market is still vulnerable.
He notes that the outlook of the fuel prices still remains gloomy.
