Care Peak Specialist Clinic managing director Dr. Aaron Mujajati has advised patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes but are in stable condition to reduce on their visitations to health facilities to seek health services.

Speaking during the launch of the chronic disease Management by the Care Peak Specialist Clinic and Prudential in Lusaka today, Dr. Mujajati notes that health Centers are high risk areas that are not safe for Chronic disease patients to visit often.

Dr. Mujajati says chronic disease patients in stable condition should ensure they visit health centers for medical services not more than twice a year as their immune system is weak and prone to contract other diseases.

He notes that the partnership between the two organisations is aimed at making access to medicine and treatment easy.

At the same event, Prudential Limited Senior Manager, Milimo Sikoobwe has disclosed that they are working on introducing a mobile laboratory that chronic disease patients can use from their homes so that they reduce on the number of visitations to health centers.
