Auditor General Dick Sichembe has disclosed that a comprehensive audit of the FTJ University is underway.
Dr Sichembe says the approved audit plan being implemented is looking at various projects, programmes and activities pertaining to public institutions.
He says this audit includes the procurement and construction of Petauke General Hospital, Lusaka Specialized Hospital; Cancer Treatment Centres Project, Smart Zambia Phase 2, Zambia Communication Towers Projects, Solar Milling Plants and the procurement of the Chancery in Ankara, Turkey among others.
He says the nation will be informed of the audit findings through the report of the Auditor General once all the audit process have been completed in accordance with the requirements of the constitution of zambia.
Dr Sichembe says his office remains committed to ensuring that all public resources are audited for the benefit of the citizenry.
