ACC challenged to be fair in their investigations on politicians

Chikondi foundation president Bishop John Maambo has challenged the anti- corruption commission to be fair in their investigations on politicians.

Speaking in an interview with Q-news, Bishop Maambo has advised the acc to treat all suspects equally regardless of their political affiliation, whether from the ruling or opposition political party.

He says the acc has not taken any step to investigate some government officials that were involved in suspected corrupt matters.

Bishop Mambo has noted that being fair by the acc in their investigations will deter would be corrupt government officials to be involved in corruption as this will supplement governments effort to fight corruption in the country.
