Former Mbabala U-P-N-D Member of Parliament Ephraim Belemu who defected to the patriotic front in 2021 has rejoined the ruling party ten months after the party won elections.
Mr. Belemu says he has decided to rejoin the party citing restored sanity in the country and a clear political ideology shown by the ruling party.
The Former Mbabala Member of parliament says he is pleased that the new dawn government has given power to the people as he describes the UPND as a party that has enhanced freedoms of people.
Speaking at the same event, UPND National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso has asked UPND party members to be accommodative of those willing to defect to the party.
