President Hichilema’s actions are not in tandem with his pronouncements -PeP

Opposition Patriots for Economic Progress (PEP) President Sean Tembo has charged that most of President Hakainde Hichilema’s actions are not in tandem with his pronouncements bordering on national unity.

Mr. Tembo says the Head of State is fond of using divisive terms in most of his speeches which is indirectly promoting divisions among citizens.

In an interview, Mr. Tembo says the more the President puts emphasis on the aspect of tribalism even with good intentions, this has a direct psychological impact on how Zambians react to the notion.

He advised President Hichilema to tone down on portraying himself as a victim of tribalism because citizens tend to react differently.
