NASFAZ calls for the promotion of soya beans agriculture

National association for small holder farmers in Zambia (NASFAZ)  has embarked on a project of linking up small scale farmers with soya beans suppliers to improve diversification in the country.

NASFAZ executive director Dr. Frank Kayula tells q news in an interview that for the country to have food security, there is need for small scale farmers to diversify from one crop agriculture to other forms of agriculture such as soya beans among others.

Dr. Kayula notes that depending on one form of crop by farmers is a risk to both farmers and the nation.
