Namwala constituency receives CDF allocation for first quarter

Ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) Namwala Member of Parliament Moono Mapani says his constituency has received the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocation for the first quarter.

Mr. Mapani says he will prioritise working on the road network in Namwala which is in a poor state.

He tells QTV news that with the amount of money allocated to the communities under CDF by the new dawn government, the road network will be worked on and this will help farmers easily deliver their produce to the markets.

Mr Mapani says Namwala being a farming constituency is supposed to have a good road network to ease the movement of famers to and from the market.

He adds that other projects to be undertaken include the construction of dams.
