Former MMD Copperbelt Secretary Reverend Jameson Kamwanga says the UPND Alliance government has demonstrated that it has enough political will to bring to fruition the fight against corruption.
Reverend Kamwanga is optimistic that some of the alleged corruption cases under investigations by law enforcement agencies will see the light of day in court and the accused persons penalized accordingly.
In a telephone interview, Mr. Kamwanga says he is aware that the state usually fails to win most of the high profile cases in court but the party in government looks set to bring to book some of the suspected perpetrators of corruption.
He has since called on the Zambian people to be patient with the government as it seeks to bring the corrupt persons to justice.
