Ndola city council has so far received slightly over K25, 700,000

The Ndola city council has so far received slightly over   25, 700,000 kwacha, constituency development fund-CDF from government for the four constituencies.

The four constituencies are Ndola central, Bwana Mkubwa, Kabushi and Chifubu.

The council initially received 2, 540, 000 kwacha for the first phase of bursaries with each constituency receiving 635,000 kwacha on February 8, 2022.

Meanwhile the council is consolidating the various CDF funding applications and proposals made by the residents living or operating in the four constituencies of Ndola.

Council public relations manager, Rebecca Mushota says the various proposals and applications were submitted by the ward development committees to the Ndola city council for onward submission to the CDF committees.

She says following the deadline for receiving applications, the department of city planning is now consolidating the applications
