Zambians urged not to rush HH into moving to State House

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Zambians not to rush President Hakainde Hichilema into shifting to Nkwazi house without convincing reasons.

NDC George Sichula led faction Deputy Secretary General for Administration Joseph Kasonde says president hichilema is cognizant to the inherited sufferings of the Zambian people from the three previous regimes.

Mr. Kasonde says all opposition party leaders and a cross-section of society calling for the president’s move to state house should understand that there is a huge economic cost implication in refurbishing the president’s residence.

He adds that the head of state has been empathetic and setting his priorities right hence his continued stay at community house and the money meant for renovation of Nkwazi House channeled to other needy areas.
