British high commissioner to Zambia Nicolas Woolly has commended the new dawn administration for enhancing Zambia’s democracy and freedom .
Mr. Woolly who spoke to q-news in an interview says the united kingdom shares the same values of Zambia’s mature democracy in terms of protecting citizens fundamental freedoms such as the freedom of expression and freedom of assembly among other freedoms.
Commenting on the recent staged protest by the opposition PF Kabushi member of parliament Bowman Lusambo, Mr. Woolly says it is encouraging for the opposition member of parliament to peacefully exercise his right to voice his opinions publicly without the state police interrogating him.
