UPND new dawn administration has failed – Tayali

Opposition Economic and Equity Party (EEP) President Chilufya Tayali charged that the UPND new dawn administration has failed owing to the continued high cost of living in the country.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr Tayali has noted that prices of many commodities such as cooking oil, mealie meal among others have continued to increase under the new dawn administration within seven months of being in office.

Mr Tayali says the UPND administration has made the economy worse than they found.

He has further accused the new dawn administration of continuing to neglect civil servants by allegedly not improving their salaries amidst the economic challenges.

Mr Tamali has since challenged President Hichilema to apologize to the Zambian people for not addressing the cost of living in the country.
