UPND govt told to stop blaming PF for their failures

University of Zambia Students Union (UNZASU) President Gabriel Banda has appealed to the upnd alliance government to desist from blaming the previous regime for its failures in the education sector.

Mr. Banda says the new government is now in place and it is their time to deliver on all the campaign promises they made instead of attributing all their failure to the past government.

In an interview, the students union leader says the students voted for a change of government and are waiting the fulfillment of promises not listening to blame games from their leaders.

He says the narrative by the new government that there is no money for more students bursaries hold no water because if there is money for other things like promotion of science and technology it means that money can also be found to support the students who were left out on loan schemes.
