Opposition Green Party president, Peter Sinkamba has urged the UPND administration to desist from vindictiveness and playing to the gallery in the fight against corruption.

In a statement obtained by Q-news, Mr Sinkamba says there is need for the UPND administration to be mindful, so that damages are minimized in the event that the State loses the cases.

Mr Sinkamba has cited the recent cases involving former minister of information, Dora Siliya, former Intelligence Chief Xavier Chungu, the so-called treason of President Hakainde Hichilema as some of the cases which will require the state to pay damages.

He has also cited the case of the seizure of former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Joe Malanji’s Hotel in Kitwe and helicopters as a potential case for paying damages by the state.
