UNZALARU has attributed challenges at UNZA to mismanagement

The University Zambia Lecturers and researcher union (UNZALARU) has reiterated its call for the overhaul of the university.

UNZALARU general secretary, kelvin Mambwe states that the challenges at Zambia’s top university are not due to lack of finance, but due to mismanagement of the institution.

Dr. Mambwe says the current university management has not done much in uplifting the name of the institution, hence the need to bring in a new crop of administrators with fresh ideas.

He states that if an overhaul of the institution is not done, history will continue to repeat itself with regards to poor administration of the university.
