Tracking Project critical in ensuring timely delivery – Mwape

Northern Province deputy permanent secretary Lewis Mwape says the tracking project process is critical in providing oversight to ensure effective and efficient project implementation.

Mr Mwape says project tracking plays a critical role in ensuring timely delivery of projects with right quality.

He says he is elated that the ministry of finance and national planning is popularizing inclusive investment especially in securities; which is dominated by commercial entities.

Mr. Mwape says it is gratifying to note that the new dawn administration has focused on bringing on board smes into productive and medium term investment windows as a way of empowering the citizens and securing reliable saving for the future.

He stresses that the provincial administration is committed to support the ministry in an effort to enhance public participation in investing securities and promote the culture of saving.

Mr. Mwape is optimistic that this will contribute to sustainable livelihood among the people in the province.

Ministry of finance and national planning will in the next few days monitor water projects in the province which have been financed through Africa development bank (AFDB) and the provincial administration has acknowledged that investment in water infrastructure development has been essential.
