Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTAT) Interim Statistician General, Mulenga Musepa says the agency has made significant progress in readiness for the 2020 national census of housing and population.
Mr. Musepa says ZAMBSTAT has just completed the assessment on how it is going to apportion equipment for conducting the census to various localities depending on the need.
He has told Q TV news in an interview that this year’s census which will be conducted from august 18 to September 14 will use modern technologies such as tablets for easier enumeration.
Mr. Musepa says the agency is now looking at finishing the procurement of soft equipment which is set to be done by the end of May 2022.
