Cameroonian Grammy award winning artist Richard Bona will this weekend be performing live for the first time in Zambia.
Speaking during a pre-concert press briefing at Bonanza resort in Chongwe upon arrival in the country, Bona said he is excited and is looking forward to sharing the stage with different local artists as well as learn from them.
Bona who is a jazz artist has encouraged local artists to stay determined, true, disciplined and share the true Zambian stories through music to the rest of Africa and the world.
The concert will be held on 26th March, 2022 at Ciela Resort Bonanza.
Speaking at the same briefing, Alliance Française director, Nail Muniglia says the concert comes at a good time when local talented artists are ready to share the country’s culture and stories beyond the borders.
Muniglia adds that the event will help Zambian musicians to dialogue with the legend and share their experiences above all learn from Bona.
