Anthony Bwalya urged not to be partisan – PF

Opposition patriotic front (PF) media director Antonio Mwanza has called on presidential spokesperson Anthony Bwalya to desist from engaging in partisan politics by virtue of him being a civil servant on government payroll.

Mr. Mwanza says it is not the job of the presidential spokesperson to be promoting propaganda and reacting to everything and everyone.

In a statement availed to q news, Mr. Mwanza has advised Mr. Bwalya to leave politics to politicians so that he can concentrate on executing his duties as a civil servant.

Mr. Mwanza was reacting to Mr. Bwalya’s assertions that president Hakainde Hichilema is failing to arrest and prosecute alleged thieves because he does not want to abuse his powers.

He says Mr. Bwalya should understand that it is not the job of the president to arrest and prosecute people, but rather it is the preserve of the police, the investigative wings and the courts of law.
