Stakeholders eulogize fourth republican president Rupiah Banda

Various stakeholders have eulogized fourth republican president Rupiah Banda for his good delivery in the country’s economic and political fronts.

And the stakeholders who include current ministers and senior government officials who served in the movement for multi-party democracy (mmd) regime have also eulogized the fourth republican president for being an approachable, embracing and engaging leader.

Bank of Zambia Governor Dr Denny Kalyalya says the economy under the fourth republican president grew despite the challenges that where being faced which included countries recoveries from the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries [HIPC] completion.

And Patriotic Front Shiwang’andu Member Of Parliament, Stephen Kampyongo has described Mr. Banda as a great politician who did not jump the mill to get to the top but went through all the various stages and aspects to finally become a head of state and consequently the father of the nation.

And Mr. Peter Daka who saved as lands and agriculture minister in the mmd regime has described Mr. Banda as an approachable man who was ever ready to listen.

And Ministry of Water And Sanitation Permanent Secretary Joe Kalusa says Mr. Banda was a good mentor and father figure who would offer genuine and timely advice around issues of life and politics.
