Leader of the opposition in parliament Brian Mundubile has described president Hichilema’s state of the nation address as a shame.
Mr Mundubile who is also PF Mporokoso Member of Parliament has since given the president’s speech 4 out of 10.
He says the president should have told the nation what his administration has done in the six months they have been in power instead of focusing on what his administration intends to do.
Mr Mundubile says what the President spoke about in his speech is not what is prevailing on the ground.
He points out that people are being detained in police custody without bond and are allegedly being tortured.
But Mines and minerals development Minister Paul Kabuswe says the president’s speech was on point as it addressed many critical issues.
