Ruling UPND National Chairperson Stephen Katuka says the UPND administration has no intentions of making the country a one-party-state.

Mr. Katuka was responding to assertions by opposition Patriotic Front Information and Publicity Chairperson Raphael Nakacinda that the UPND wants to make the country a one party state.

He tells QTV news that the UPND favors multi-party democracy and those who are joining the ruling party are doing so at their own free will without any hidden hand.

Mr. Katuka notes that if the UPND wanted to turn the country into a one party state as alleged by Mr. Nakacinda, they would have started by amending the constitution.
