Media network on child rights and development has called on parents to restrict their children from accessing visuals of suicide acts either on social media or television.

Speaking in an interview with q-news, MNCRD Executive Director Henry Kabwe notes with concern that some parents have continued allowing their children to use smart phones and watch movies where they copy and practice what they watch.

Mr. Kabwe says restricting children from accessing visuals with acts of suicide will help prevent them from practicing such as acts.

He has further advised parents against buying phones for their children until they have become mature.
