The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) has challenged the ward development committees WDC to come up with programs of fighting climate change in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Q-News CSPR project officer Elvis Chipuka says there is need for the WDCs to promote the practice of planting climate resilient crops among Zambian farmers.
Mr. Chipuka notes that acquainting local farmers with vast knowledge on agriculture will enable them to diversify to other crops.
Mr. Chipoka notes that this will enable the country to alleviate poverty in the country even in the midst of climate change as there will be food security in the country .
