A consultant at the University Teaching Hospital UTH pediatric oncology cancer diseases hospital Dr. Justin Mulindwa has advised people not to visit traditional doctors to seek treatment for cancer diseases.
Dr. Mulindwa has called on citizens in communities to take keen interest on cancer sensitization programs do in communities in order to increase their knowledge on cancer diseases.
And speaking in an interview with Q-news, Dr. Mulindwa said there is need for members of the community to regularly go for cancer screening as cancer can only be treated if detected at an early stage.
he said late diagnosis of cancer diseases impedes the nation from recording positive gains in cancer treatment.
