President Hichilema swears in 4 constitutional office holder

President Hakainde Hichilema Has Sworn In 4 Constitutional Office Holders Among Them Lawyers Mulilo Kabesha As Attorney General, Marshal Muchende As Solicitor General.

Speaking shortly after swearing them in Mr. Hichilema implored the duo to ensure that as they take up these new roles the excessive delay in the delivery of justice is minimized and to find ways to speed up the process of delivering justice.

Mr. Hichilema has since directed the newly appointed attorney general and solicitor general to render timely legal advice to government that will assist government to save resources from been mismanaged and misappropriated.

Others sworn in are secretary to the treasury Felix Nkulukusu and bank of Zambia governor Dr. Denny Kalyalya who has returned for a second time at the central bank.

Mr. Hichilema says the ministry of finance is critical to government’s and people’s desire for economic transformation.

He says the three critical institutions namely the ministry of finance, bank of Zambia and the Zambia revenue authority should help the country to reconstruct its economy.

And the president says there is now political will for the BOZ governor to do the right thing he was unable to do in the previous administration because it lacked political will.

Mr. Hichilema further stated that  he is concerned that the export revenues are not impacting on the exchange rate.
