HEALTH MINISTER SYLVIA MASEBO says the ministry of health has made progress in containing the diarrhea outbreak that was recently reported in Lusaka.
Ms Masebo says the province has seen reduced numbers of reported cases of late.
The minister has since disclosed that her ministry is currently on the ground educating the masses to boil their water and add chlorine to their drinking water.
Ms. Masebo has further announced that the ministry of health is working with stakeholders in the sector to distribute chlorine to selected areas of Lusaka.
She has further disclosed that the ministry currently engaging with local authorities and the Lusaka water and sanitation company to ensure that water supply to the communities is improved.
