The Rainbow Party, has strongly condemned the act of vandalism by suspected UPND members in Luanshya who went to vandalize Nathan Chanda police station in the full view of police officers.
A video of people clad in UPND regalia covering out the names “Nathan Chanda” with black paint at the Nathan Chanda police post in Luanshya in the full view of police officers at the post has been circulating on social media.
rainbow party national spokesperson Humphrey Kabwe says it is unfortunate to see the UPND cadres continue terrorizing innocent people while president Hakainde Hichilema continues to pay a blind eye to the evil activities his cadres are doing in the country.
Mr. Kabwe charges that that president Hichilema’s preaching on Caderism is only meant to blackmail Zambians because if he had means his words, the country could be seeing action been taken through the arrest of UPND cadres who are involving themselves in various criminal acts.
He has since called upon the home affairs minister Mr. Jack Mwiimbu and the police to immediately arrest those all those seen in the video vandalizing the police post further appealing to the president to show leadership by ensuring that his members and supporters engaging in criminal activities are arrested and caged.
