Community Action Against Corruption CAAC is disappointed with the outcome of the faith musonda case where the matter has been settled with the forfeiture of the recovered money and the house where the money was recovered from.

CAAC chief executive officer, Brighton Tembo says the action by the acc has the potential to encourage other people to commit similar crimes and expect to return the money when found wanting by the investigating authorities.

Mr Tembo says this could undermine the credibility of the upnd administration and the investigative wings in the fight against corruption as justice has not been served fully in the matter.

He has since urged the investigative wings to explain further to the people of zambia the reasons why they reached such a deal on a potentially high profile case of corruption.

Mr Tembo believes such as a settlement can only be entered into when the case is too difficult to prosecute due to lack of critical evidence or lack of incriminating witnesses.
