Youths to lose confidence in new dawn govt

Governance activist Isaac Mwanza has stressed the need for President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND administration to deliver on their campaign promises, especially those made to the youths for them not to lose confidence in the new dawn government.

Mr. Mwanza tells q-news that some of the promises that Zambians are looking forward to being actualized is the provision of free education, the reduction in cost of living to enable citizens have three meals a day, employment opportunities and the sale of the presidential jet among others.

He states that in as much as the UPND have been in government for more than a month, they should have had a formula to actualize some of the promises or at least give hope that the promises will soon be actualized.

Mr. Mwanza says the explanations so far coming from government on the actualization of the promises made indicate that most of the promises will take some time to be actualized, a situation which might lead to youths getting agitated and consequently make them lose confidence in the UPND administration.
