Ikeleng’i lacking development

Ikeleng’i Member of Parliament Elijah Muchima has bemoaned the lack of development in his constituency.

Mr. Muchima says 8-years after Ikeleng’i was declared a district in 2011, the area has nothing to show in terms of development.

He says the roads are in a deplorable state, while most of the schools are also in a bad state.

Mr Muchima says the district also lacks proper health facilities, adding that the constituency has not benefitted from the 650 health posts being constructed countrywide.

He laments that despite the farming inputs being made available to the constituency, farmers are finding it difficult to collect them as the roads are impassable.

Mr. Muchima has since urged government to seriously consider including Ikeleng’i on the developmental agenda.
