ZCTU counsels government on national airline

The Zambia Congress of Trade Unions has advised government to learn from past mistakes and avoid making similar mistakes as it considers re-introducing the National Airline.

ZCTU Secretary General Cosmas Mukuka says stringent measures should now be put in place to avoid the abuse of the airline by government officials.

Mr Mukuka says ZCTU welcomes the re-introduction of the national airline.

Mr. Mukuka is hopeful that the coming of the national airline will help expose Zambia to tourists.

Government through the ministry of transport and communications is expected to re-introduce the national airline in the first quarter of this year.
