ECZ to print 2021 ballot papers both locally & abroad

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has indicated that ballot papers for the 2021 elections will be printed both locally and outside the country.

ECZ Public Relations Manager Margaret Chimanse has disclosed this to q-news in an interview.

Ms Chimanse says as a law abiding institution, the ECZ will follow what the law stipulates and will request for the best people to print ballot papers.

she states that in procuring materials required to conduct a credible electoral process, the commission will be bound by the Zambia public procurement authority amendment act number 15 of 2011.

Ms Chimanse adds that the ECZ is also upgrading infrastructure in order to improve election management and meet international standards and the expectations of the people.
