Changala calls for urgent money trail audit on PF

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala has called for an urgent money trail audit of the financial status of the ruling PF.

Mr. Changala is concerned that the ruling party seems to have in excess money than any other political party that has stayed in power in Zambia.

In an interview with QTV News Changala has wondered where the ruling PF is getting the money it has shown it has as evidenced by its campaigns in the last by-elections.

Mr. Changala says the explanation by the ruling party that its wealth is as result of its claimed well organized party structures cannot hold water.

He says Zambians must be told where and how the ruling party has been getting its money if suspicions of its alleged stealing from the government treasury are to be proved wrong.

Mr. Changala is also in doubt the ruling party is a holder of a bank account that can show inflows and outflows of its income.

He states that if indeed the ruling PF does have an bank account this financial credit should also be used as evidence of how much it is currently worth.
