Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP), president Sean Tembo has challenged the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) to disclose THE source of funding for their campaigns.

Mr Tembo has since threatened to go to court to seek an order that would compel the ruling party to avail their financial records and allay fears that they have been illegally dipping their hands into the Bank of Zambia vaults.

He says he is deeply concerned about the large amounts of unexplained income which the ruling party appears to be awash with, as exhibited by how lavishly they have been spending on by-elections in the recent past.

He explains that he is fully aware that the PF does not charge membership fees to its members and also that the PF only conducts fundraising events once in a while.

Mr. Tembo states that it’s evident that the huge amounts of money which the PF appears to be spending cannot be explained by any of their publicly known legitimate income streams.
