The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) have dispelled public assertions that speed traps installed on the Great East and Kafue roads have been stolen.

RTSA head of Public Relations Fredric Mubanga has clarified that contrary to what has been reported by some sections of the media, what are being stolen are not the actual speed traps but camera bases.

Mr Mubanga tells Q-news that the cameras have not been stolen because they are movable, from one place to another depending on where officers see speed as a risk.
