Youth Aid commends political parties for peaceful campaigns

Political parties participating in the Lusaka Mayoral by-election have been commended for conducting peaceful campaigns so far.

Youth Aid Chairman Chungu Kachenga has since urged the youth to resist the temptation of being used to engage in acts of violence ahead of the by-elections slated for 26th July.

Mr Kachenga has noted that the youth are mostly used by politicians for their selfish gains during, before, and after elections.

He says the youth should not allow themselves to be paid by politicians to engage in violence.
