Mushrooming of churches worries Sumaili

National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili

National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili has expressed concern over the rate at which churches are mushrooming in the country.

The minister says this trend is very disturbing.

Rev. Sumaili has expressed optimism that the Church Mother Bodies has come up with a self-regulatory framework mechanism to deal with mushrooming Churches.

Rev. Sumaili stands ready to ensure that her ministry provides oversight and that government will soon come up with a policy based on self-regulatory framework.

She says so far government has done its level best to bring order to the body of Christ.
