PF Media Director Sunday Chanda
The Patriotic Front (PF) says it’s deceitful for National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mayoral candidate Saboi Imboela to state that she will bring back street vending if elected into office.
PF Media Director, Sunday Chanda says this cannot happen because there is already a statutory instrument banning street vending.
Mr. Chanda has told Q news that the mayor does not have such powers, adding that he or she cannot overrule a statutory instrument which is already in place.
Ms. Imboela has promised to allow street vending on selected days in some parts of Lusaka.
