The Ministry of Lands says it is in the process of revoking 35,000 offer letters issued countrywide due to nonpayment of consideration fee by those in possession of the documents.

Lands Minister Jean Kapata says the 35,000 plots will be re-advertised once repossessed so that deserving Zambians who are willing and able to pay the required fee can get them.

Ms Kapata says Government is being deprived of revenue by the people in possession of the offer letters in question.

She says the delay to pay consideration fee by those who have been issued with offer letters is negatively affecting the implementation of the national titling programme.

The minister has since advised those in possession of the offer letters to pay the consideration fee within two weeks or have their offer letters revoked and their land re-advertised.
