Part of Mumbwa Road will next week be cut

Millennium Challenge Account Zambia, Communications and Outreach Director, John Kunda says part of Mumbwa road will next week be cut in order to facilitate the laying of water supply pipes.

Dr. Kunda has told Q-news that the contractor engaged to carry out the works is on site and Millennium Challenge Account Zambia has since communicated to the Road Development Agency over the works which are likely to affect part of the road.

He has disclosed that the works along Mumbwa road are part of the major works being done by Millennium Challenge Account Zambia aimed at improving water supply in Lusaka.

Dr. Kunda has since appealed to motorists to be patient as the road will be opened as soon as the works are completed.
