BuyZed counsels Lsk Mayoral candidates

Candidates aspiring to contest the Lusaka Mayoral by-elections have been challenged to come up with proper plans of modernizing Lusaka City.

BuyZed Campaign founder Evans Ngoma says his organization expects that whoever emerges winner of the by-election on the 26th this month, he or she should focus his or her plans for the City on infrastructure development.

Mr. Ngoma says there is need to construct buildings that are able to stand the test of time especially given the reducing space for construction in the city.

In an interview with QTV News Mr. Ngoma says it is important that construction of buildings in the Central Business District is regulated.

Mr. Ngoma says the council should be strict in permitting what sort of buildings are constructed and where.

He says his organization is of the view that the remaining land in Lusaka should be well utilized to allow for accommodation space.
