Operation Young Vote Executive Director Guess Nyirenda
Operation Young Vote (OYV) has called on politicians in the country to emulate UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema and Pambashe Member of Parliament Ronald Chitotela for empowering local people in the country.
OYV Executive Director Guess Nyirenda says his organization is also aware of Mr. Hichilema’s continued ‘silent’ sponsoring of a number of students at the University of Zambia (UNZA).
Mr. Nyirenda says OYV is equally alive at some works institutions such as Action Aid among many others are undertaking to build modern schools such as in Nalolo in Western Province.
He says with the conviction that education is the ‘key’ to success and that education is the best equalizer, OYV feels obliged to unreservedly commend the two politicians and the said institutions.
Mr. Nyirenda has since challenged all other politician at all levels to be futuristic in their dealings especially in the area of empowering citizens as education is one of the critical ones.
