Police in Choma have arrested a 45 year oldman for conspiring to murder three persons in Mapanza by hiring a gunman to shoot the victims.
The suspect has been identified ad Malumani Kavwema of Handondo village in chief Mapanza’s area of choma district.
The persons that were lined up for elimination were Sydney Mwango alias Gonde, Dakanya Halyaanga and another one only known as Alick, all of Choma district in chief Mapanza’s area.
Plans to shoot the three victims were hatched during the month of April this year. Reason to kill the three was that they were responsible for the illness of Malumani Kavwema as revealed by a prophet only known as Mwenyu of no fixed abode.
The three victims were supposed to be killed yesterday on 7th May 2018 at around midnight but quick police intervention saved the situation by arresting the suspect shortly after handing over one greener shotgun and 3 live ammunition to the gunman at 23:00hrs in readiness to execute the murder of three persons.
